This was a surprise for my wonderful, construction worker husband and it was a big hit. He uses this saw on every single job he decides to take on. He just started his business and has no helpers yet. He advised me this had been a life saver when he has to cut angles in he boards. Even though it is predominantly for trim, my husband makes it work for all sizes like 2 x 4s, etc. The saw can be adjusted to lean at different angles which accommodates a wide range of angle cuts. This little saw is tough because my husband built a stick barn large enough for a tractor and several implements with enough footage for a closed in storage room. It has a place to hook a shop vacuum so that cuts down on dust flying every where. That is nice because he doesn't track it into my house when he comes home. He said it's very easy to operate. And he has had wrist surgery, he said the handles were very comfortable for him to use to operate and adjust the saw. This product is well worth the money, highly functional and portable or stationary. My husband is enjoying his Mitre saw and it has been so handy since he works alone. He just loads it in his work truck and heads to the job. Now for big support beams and heavy duty work a bigger saw might be better. But for my husband's needs it is perfect for now.

Look, does it cut wood at all angles and sizes like a sliding compound miter saw can cut? No. Does it cut wood with accuracy at 90 degrees all day long? Yep! And right out of the box! I’ll have to say this. Seldom does a bladed power tool come with a decent blade that cuts better than expected. This one does. Not much assembly required and it’s very light and portable. And the price of $99, buy it or maybe 2. This is a great job site saw that is very reliable and precise. Keep the heavy and multi capable saw in your shop for when the work comes to you. Use this saw to carry to the work.

Just received this little Metabo saw. I have a great, but heavy, 12†sliding compound miter saw. I've been transporting this monster to job sites for what turns out to be simple jobs... not furniture making. I was looking for a simple miter saw to cut baseboard and quarter round. Saw this saw for just over a hundred bucks, and figured... what the heck. Turns out this is a pretty decent saw. Just set it up (not much to it) and tested it. Cut some quarter round and checked them for accurate 45 degree cuts. They looked great. Also, the 24 tooth blade surprisingly cut pretty smooth. Won't need to upgrade the blade for awhile. Attached the saw to a small wood base that I can clamp to something if I want. The saw is super light... only 24 pounds. Half the weight of my bigger saw. Spoiler alert... the dust collection bag is useless. But, they all are on miter saws. Also, before attaching the collection bag (if you choose to use it), look into the hole of the saw feeding the bag. I saw a piece of pot metal from the housing right in the middle of the hole, which would block any wood shavings if any were to attempt to go into the bag. I stuck needle nose pliers down the hole and broke off the tab to clear the hole. Didn't really matter though... collection bag is still useless. The hole feeding the collection bag is small and plugs immediately. Using any miter saw is just going to be messy. Note... be sure to look in the collection bag. I found a wing screw needed for the hold down clamp in there. Don't know why it wasn't put in the plastic bag with the other items they included. Haven't used the saw yet, but after testing it I anticipate it will work fine for me. Love the price. Can't speak to longevity.

I have been using the saw on a decking project the last few weeks and can attest that it works really well. You can’t go wrong with the price. Quick and clean cuts with the ability to rapidly change cut angles, lock it in and go. The only item I would advise considering and the reason I have it 4 rather than 5 stars is the limited cut width. The saw pivots for your cut, but does not then slide forward and back. This limits your cutting width, specifically with trying to cut deck boards at angles greater than 30 degrees. Other than that, awesome value for the price and solid saw overall.

I got this to save me from having to keep lifting my heavy circular saw when building a long wooden fence. It worked great for cutting fence boards to length. I was expecting mediocre quality for the low price, but I had no problems at all. It seemed very solid and kept its alignment and angle setting well with no slippage. Some reviewers were disappointed with the blade it came with, but for me it kept its sharpness after cutting 200 fence boards. I recommend this tool.

La entrega por Amazon logÃstic fue súper rápido, 3 dÃas, con entrega en domingo. La máquina tiene muy buena calidad con relación a su precio. Funciones básicas, No la puedes comparar con una dewalt o marcas de renombre porque no va con su precio. Pero es funcional, práctica, tiene precisión en los cortes. Me gustó el modelo por su precio.

I really like this Miter saw. I use it on a daily basis and have never had a problem. It's not that heavy to lift and set up is easy. If you are just starting off in woodworking or if your a seasoned woodworker I urge you to give this saw a look. Great product.

Esta es mi primera sierra ingletadora. Aunque antes de comprarla investigué mucho sobre ellas, debo admitir que no tengo un punto personal de comparación. Dicho esto, debo decir que estoy muy contento con mi sierra, hace todos los cortes que esperaba hacer con ella y los hace muy bien. Después de un par de meses usándola, no siento nada en la sierra que me diga que es de las más baratas en Amazon, de lo que sà estoy seguro es de que es una muy buena herramienta.De los puntos malos podrÃa decir que la cantidad de polvo que capta la bolsa incluida es mÃnimo, pero entiendo que este es un problema común en este tipo de sierras y la solución es usar el puerto para la aspiradora.

Compre la sierra para un proyecto especifico, cortar perfil de aluminio, compre el disco correspondiente para este objetivo ( 100 dientes ) y funciono excelente, corte las 96 piezas sin problemas. tengo un negocio de muebles y la uso la mayor parte del tiempo cortando melamina ( desde 15mm-30mm) funciona a la perfección, también para hacer los marco con corte a 45° funciona excelente. Tras varios meses de uso estoy contento con el desempeño y calidad de la sierra, fácil ajuste. la bolsa que tiene para contener el aserrÃn es algo insuficiente en el dÃa a dÃa pero fácil de limpiar, igual se puede conectar a la aspiradora y se logra menos polvo, la limpieza es sencilla si se hace con una brocha. la volverÃa a comprar sin dudarlo.
