Remember when your miter saw could do it all? Create cuts at any angle with the WEN 10-Inch Single Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw. Our powerful 15-amp motor slices through even the hardest of woods, rotating the blade up to 4500 times per minute. This versatile saw miters up to 45 degrees in either direction and bevels up to 45 degrees to the left. Cut boards up to 12 inches wide and 3-1/2 inches thick or make compound cuts (45-degree bevel and 45-degree miter) in boards 8-1/4 inches wide and 2-1/5 inches thick. The saw features 9 positive miter stops: two at 15 degrees, two at 22.5 degrees, two at 30 degrees, two at 45 degrees and one at 0. However, if a more unique angle is preferred, the miter lock still allows the saw to lock at any angle between those stops. This spacious saw also features a 7-1/2-inch crown molding nested capacity and a 6-3/4-inch base board vertical capacity. The compact design makes for great portability and storage between uses. Measuring in at 17.5 by 28 by 16.5 inches, you’ll never have to worry about your rail system interfering with your wall again. This package also includes a 10-inch 40-tooth carbide-tipped blade (w/ 5/8-inch arbor), two table extensions, one clamp assembly, a class II laser guide, a dust port adapter, and a dust bag. The onboard laser illuminates the line of cut for maximum accuracy while the dust collection port allows for connection to either the included dust bag or your dust collection device of choice. And, because it’s a WEN product, your miter saw comes backed by a two-year warranty, a stocked inventory of replacement parts, and a friendly customer help line, all to make sure you remember WEN.

Another great budget tool from Wen without sacrificing some of the bigger named, higher price point saws. I recommend a 0-clearance strip be added to the saw when you purchase it. The blade groove is wide and precut to be able to do 45-degree miters. Fo my purpose I won't be doing combination miters with this saw so I put a 0-clearance strip on the blade plate and the saw has plenty of power. I was breaking down lumber, 4/4 and 8/4 boards and this saw took them all, motor stayed cool, and cuts were very accurate. Side note - blade brake is not super-fast... that is my only issue but not worth dropping stars.

Bought for my husband. I use it as well, I find the ease of adjustment is amazing. It's excellent for the money and top quality for wood working and functional. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this because I wanted a compact miter saw for hobby builds. The saw was well packed and came undamaged. Set up was easy. The saw has powerful motor that is louder than previous saw. Saw does not have a smooth start and it jerks when you press switch. Not a huge problem but a smoother start would be nice. Adjusting for angle cuts is OK but not as smooth as better saws.

I have slowly switched all my tools over to WEN over the years. I have some "higher quality" brands for other tools and honestly I can't tell a major difference. Maybe the fit and finish is nicer on versions that cost 2-3x what WEN does. If it is something that you are using for a hobby, I would highly recommend this saw or any WEN product. I like to use the Adam Savage approach to tool buying. Get the cheapest tool you can and learn with it until you need something more. I have yet to outgrow a WEN tool I bought and I have been using them for years. If you don't need a specific feature of a more expensive saw, get this one.

I’ve had real good luck with WEN and this saw reflects the quality to price value that makes WEN a serious competitor to bigger name brands.I ordered my saw from Amazon almost a year a ago and it came relatively quickly and arrived in perfect condition. Setting up the saw was easy and straightforward. I always check the blade and fence with appropriate measuring tools and calibrate according to ny need. The saw has always held true to its setup after several cuts and it keeps it setting well after sitting and traveling between jobs. I’ve used the saw more days out of the year I’ve had it then days its been sitting in my shop and it hasn’t shown me any signs of degrading performance.I highly recommend this tool if you are looking for a budget friendly saw with versatile features and reliability that pros can count on for daily use. I would suggest investing in higher quality blades like Frued to get the best results.

Pull-down handle is dirty. The florescent plastic on either side of the blade is chipped and chewed up. And the pin that holds down the mechanism down for transport wasn't in so it popped out of the box. Not a great purchase experience. All that said, the engineering and quality feels good. And the operation feels smooth. I've had it for a few days but the table/stand has yet to ship after almost a month so it is hard to tell if it will accurately bevel or miter without mounting it securely.

Don't purchase this product. Design is flawed, and support is nonexistent. Spend a little more and purchase a name brand. Impossible to tighten the Allen Screw holding the blade down enough to keep it from freely spinning on the spindle. The flanges never get tight enough to grasp the blade. Only way I could get this to work is insert a large flat washer between the blade and outer flange giving me enough distance to compress the inner and outer flanges together. The washer I had in my junk drawer is a little to thick and I need to go to the hardware store and get a more fitting one, but in a pinch I got it working with the thicker washer and got the project cut up I was working on. Out of the box the blade would slip about half way through a 2x4.
