I needed to mount the saw against a wall, so many sliding miters with rails that go out the back wouldn't work. That left me between this one and a Makita, and the price on this was hard to beat. I'm impressed with the quality, and honestly the shadow-based cut line works extremely well. The cut is placed exactly where I want it, every time. Highly recommend.

Really really nice saw with a lot of good features for an incredible price. I pretty much immediately upgraded the blade before using. Shadow line could be a little more defined

Great Tool. came on time and has been used quite a bit since then. I actually like it more than most miter saws I have used. Fits really close to the wall in my workshop and that says a lot because it's a large tool. Works great. The cuts were very accurate. Would defiantly buy more tolls from this company.

Purchased because I thought it was the 12†Makita. When I realized the mistake, I thought “what’s the harm in trying it out, maybe I’ll like itâ€â€¦ they’re were a few ‘issues’ from the get go…The first thing that happened (on the very first day of use) was the machined bearing that is mounted to the guard popped out, like it was barely crimped in place… I couldn’t get it to stay so disassembled and put a heavy crimp on the bearing, now it feels tight but the guard does not retract 100% of the way and drags on the board significantly, meaning no pull back initial score cuts to reduce splintering.Secondly, by design it seems, the left facing board always receives a defect knick in the cut. The manual identifies this defect as a product feature and to only use the right face of the blade as your finish cut.The frame is solid though, and when disassembling I saw that care in design was made for screw driver access for all pieces. I appreciated the engineering forethought, but would have never needed to find if it was a higher quality performer. After two days and only 20 cuts later, I issued my return.

Everything I would expect in a miter saw and more. Love that it has a five-year warranty. It’s smooth and easy to adjust.

Well made saw. Upgraded from a non sliding dual compound saw and this is made a world of difference.

I watched several reviews. This thing was so out of wack. The blade was already installed and cut big gabs into the fence. The table was so stretchy when moving, it would even make sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard.
