The saw features 9 miter stops: two at 15 degrees, two at 22.5 degrees, two at 31.6 degrees, two at 45 degrees and one at 0. However, if a more unique angle is preferred, the miter lock still allows the saw to lock at any angle between those stops. The onboard LED cutline guide casts a shadow against the blade to illuminate your line of cut for maximum accuracy while the dust collection port allows for connection to either the included dust bag or your dust collection device of choice. This spacious saw also features a 5.5-inch crown molding nested capacity and a 3.5-inch base board vertical capacity. This package includes a 40-tooth carbide-tipped blade with a 5/8-inch arbor (model BL1040), two adjustable support fences, one quick-clamp assembly, a dust port, a dust bag, and a carrying handle. Purchased as my first miter saw, bought it because of the price difference between this and more name brand miter saws. This saw did everything I asked of it without question. As a DIY Guy getting started, this thing made my life so easy. I did 3 big projects and I even made a rolling miter saw table for this saw. I used the blade that came with it for all my guys and it did great. Not the cleanest cuts but great for a free blade. Build quality is great and it's ability to fold and hide in a small footprint.

First off I'd like to say this saw is a rather nice.I have been into wood work for many years and I have never had a sliding miter saw.I have always used the non sliding miter saw.as I started to replace some really old tools from 10 to 14years ago, I thought I'd get a sliding miter saw.didnt have a big budget for one so I did some research on many brands mainly the 10" size. I have a work station set up close to the wall so I was looking for a saw that would not have to be sat up away from the work station. I saw a few but they were out of my range, then I saw the WEN. it has the slide rails forward so the cutting head moves forward and retracts back without the rails going back against the wall if the clearance is not there. this is a really nice saw. the set up was easy assembly of a few parts were a no brainer. dual bevel is ok it does cut 45degree left and right as well as a few other angles. it the 0 degree is on point rear and front no off angel cuts so far. the cuts ar efast and clean i did buy a btter blade this week bacause I know ill need it at some point. no knobbs falling off or breaking due to poor quality as some say.I use my tools I dont abuse my tools.and I do believe this saw will last me for quite some time I have othe tools I have had for 14 years ,still start up and function but I felt its time to move on from them. with that being said, the WEN sliding miter saw has a place on the work space. NICE

This thing is fantastic. There are of course much better saws out there for a couple of hundred more dollars. But at this price point I doubt you will find anything better. Even the blade it comes with works well, I would still change to a fine cut blade for nice trim work, but for general use the blade is great. This was square out of the box, is easy to adjust, and has a serious amount of power. The saw slides on the rails amazingly smooth, and the design allows you to place against a wall and still make full use of the saw. The only other saws I know of that allow you use against a wall all start at more than 300 bucks more.Eventually I may upgrade to a Makita, but for now and the probably pretty long future, this saw is awesome.

Cuts straight and is easy to use. I love that the sliding bars are in front and not the back to save you space when up against the wall.

Bought this miter saw in March 2023 and absolutely loved it. I've done a ton of work with it with few problems. Then about a month ago, things started to come loose on the saw. The blade made a funny sound one morning and found that the blade was loose. What?? I hadn't messed with the blade. Had changed the blade a couple of months ago but that shouldn't have caused this. Then the safety blade fell down while using the saw. Just strange things like that. No big deal, put everything back together with some lock tight on the screws. I also noticed that on start up, it was making a rubbing sound or knocking that went away quickly. Wasn't able to figure out what it was. This morning I was cutting some plywood pieces and the blade started making a strange sound. Unplugged the saw and felt the blade to make sure it was secure and running free. It's secure but not spinning free. Felt like the blade lock was rubbing. Checked the blade lock and that doesn't appear to be the issue. Plugged saw in, it's making a streaking sounds and the blade became stuck. Unplugged again but can't find the problem.I'll be calling Wen tomorrow, when I have time, because it's still under warranty. I don't have much hope as when reading the warranty, the buyer must pay for shipping for the repair and pack it in the box it came in or comparable. Yeah, we all keep the boxes and styrofoam for every product we buy. Have a feeling that instead of a miter saw, I now have a 45lbs paperweight.I have had good luck with Wen products until now. Won't be purchasing another Wen miter saw as the replacement. Sucks.***Update*** I found the problem. Internal gears in the gear box attached to the arbor stud (not sure what to call it), have become misaligned and a c ring, holding everything together, came off. No idea how all that would happen unless it occurred at the factory. So, found the problem now I have to figure out how to fix it.

I have multiple WEN products and so when I wanted a miter saw I reviewed many but at the end if the day I kept going back to WEN because the price AND options for the price. This is a great miter saw not perfect but unlike miter saws that cost twice as much it's a 10 Inc slider and I picked WEN for the front slider so it can be set against the wall close as needed which only very expensive miter saw can do and double beveled easy to use.
