I thought this would entertain my 8 year old, but my husband uses it to find nails in the yard bc it works so well 😆 It's alerted us to things buried maybe 5 inches in the ground. Never worth anything but maybe one day lol. Easy to pack for travel and love the shovel that's attached, but recommend using a metal shovel. Very accurate.

Very easy to use and it definitely does pinpoint to metals even if it’s just a pop top. It’s very sensitive but when I’m just learning, it’s really helping me along.

I like this package deal because it works really well, water-proof, one battery needed but they sent two, sand shovel is thick & heavy duty, nice long lanyard, cool caribiner, good holster for pin-pointer, easy to read instructions (not ambiguous difficult to understand wording) and has a bonus built in flashlight on pin-pointer that is small but very helpful on those last few hunts at dark.

Works really good on land not so much in the water. Send off lots of fault signals every time it Goes in. I use some plumbers tape around the The top to secure it and make it waterproof

It's waterproof I have been 10 ft below the surface and the vibration makes it real great for underwater and I've only had to change the batteries once in the couple years I've had it My son loves playing with it we found lots of old Hot Wheels cars

I don't really use it much but it is well made and accurate to pin point objects.
