This cost is less the a KitchenAid product.It came with every thing one needs for grinding meat.The tray and feed tubes are thin and not heavy duty.The grinding plate rusted the first time I washed in the dish washer.Still I did not dry them, I let them air dry.I washed and dried by hand and a little spry oil, problem solved.

Purchased this grinder to go with my kitchenaid. It was very sturdy and worked extremely well. Directions could have used a little more detail but overall they weren't bad. I had to Google what speed to turn the mixer on for grinding... It's 4 if you were wondering. Otherwise it ground up venison very well. I used both the course and the medium options. I did use the suggestion of putting the meat in the freezer for a little while before I put it in to the grinder. Very very very little waste that did not grind. well it's not hard to clean it all. It comes with a little brush which I did not use, I used a glass cleaning brush from the dollar store. Overall I thought it was very good and I look forward to purchasing more attachments for my KitchenAid from this company. So far it's definitely worth the money I saved from buying an official KitchenAid piece.

Makes great ground beef. Easy to clean and store. I'm trying chicken boobies next for some hatch chili snausage!

Received package already opened with missing parts. Waited for this to arrive. The box had a tair on the part where you open and could clearly see it had been tampered with. Disagree to say the least. Now have to drive into town to return, then wait to be reimbursed to reorder.

In the past I've made a lot of sausage with a hand grinder (old #22). This attachment fit and worked flawlessly on our 6 qt. stand Kitchenaid. Speed at #8 just about the right speed. I chilled the pork for the first grind and should have re-chilled it before the second. I'd chalk up any negative reports to either someone who has never used a grinder before or was expecting a silk purse from a sows ear. Fit and finish were excellent and it worked just as one would expect. The only negative thing I would say is that when the pusher get covered with fat it is hard to hang on to. Yes, go ahead an buy this appliance if your looking for a tool that will last you many years.

Fits my kitchenaid mixer well. Ground up brisket to make burger meat very well. I have also grated cheese with it and that works great as well. Would recommend

Plastic o e I had broke so wanted metal. It is however a lighter grade so will still not press meat too hard through the grinder
