Might be a bit overkill, but for the bet PVC binding results, you should chamfer the edges, so you don't just snowplow the primer and glue away. This is easy and works great for that. A few twists and you're done. A little pricy, but worth it to me, if you want the best results and have the time to do it right. Excellent product. I'm slowly but surely fixing all the shortcuts a previous owner's irrigation company did at the house. This helps a lot.

The item works but is a little difficult to use. Would be nice if it was slightly smaller in diameter. The blades catch on the burs and it causes the tool to stick and jump leaving a not so smooth finish. I found that it's best to very loosely apply the tool in the beginning to minimize the catching and bouncing. Overall it works so I can't knock it, but there could probably be some small design changes that would make it easier to use.

It actually works very well to ream copper pipe, also its aluminum and very light.Will see how long it will last with occasional use, Ridgid one lasted only about 2 years but its costs x4 more.

Worked well for me on 1/2 inch copper. Householder use so can't comment on longevity after multiple uses.
