I’m a retired pipe tradesmen and still do a few little gigs here and there that involve copper pipe ABS or PVC. I ordered this little handheld tool because I’ve never used one before I’ve always used the pin type reamers or the reamers that come included in some of your copper tubing cutters And I thought I would give this a try. I’ve used it a few times on copper pipe and also on PVC and clear PVC pipe, and it works well. I hope to keep using this for a long time to come although I’m not full-time or heavy projects oriented I think this will work pretty well for me. I’m going to see how long it lasts, but all around. I like this tool so far I like it size I like it weight in the hand, and I like it ease of use.

I’m in the process of replacing my old irrigation system and upgrading everything. I saw this tool in a YouTube video and knew I had to have one. The speed and efficiency of the chamfer is amazing. I wish I had this tool years ago … It’s a lot of tool for very little money!

A nice tool for someone that needs to do a little plumbing on occasion. It beats a file or sandpaper for medium sized DIY jobs. It does take a little practice to get a decent finish with out chatter. But once you figure it out it's not hard.

Now that I cut pvc with a slicer instead of a saw, there is a small ridge around the cut. This tool looked solid and when it got here today, I wasn't disappointed. This is solid and sharp. Can't go wrong using this.

Copper pipes it works OKAY. 1/2" diameter copper is annoying to use because of the size difference. It's really only a good worker when it's 1" copper, because even 3/4" is a bit of a hassle to use it on

I'm cursed with a bit of perfectionism, and it's always annoyed me that nearly all pvc cutters put a slant on the end of every cut, so I cut pvc with a copper pipe cutter. Makes a perfectly square edge, but leaves a lot of clean-up to do on the ID and OD. This little chamfer tool speeds that way up and does a fine job of it.
