A good solar finder is essential when viewing the sun. Although the calibration is tough given that you are likely going to be using the sun as your target and that target is continually moving. However, just take your time and enjoy the fruits of your labors. Just realize that once you calibrate, any jolting to the finder will mess up your calibration. Good luck and happy sun hunting.
