Worked perfect on my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ with the infinity sound system. Didn’t have to cut any wires so I know I’ll always have a solid connection!

I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. I had to replace the old speakers. These connectors will work, but only after modifying them. The modification is simple. There is a guide rail on the back of the connector. In order to make it fit, you need to cut it off. It will then insert into the stock female connector.

This item is amazing if you can't solder the wires or crimp on connectors. Be aware that these adapters have two slide connectors, and one is smaller than the other, but i'm pretty sure most speakers are like that now anyways. I highly recommend this adapter. It makes installing speakers a breeze. Couldn't be any more satisfied. If you are a Jeep Cherokee XJ owner, beware that if you have a 1997-2001 XJ, these will not work. You need to buy a different adapter.

These were perfect fits for the 93 Wrangler, but the wires pulled out of the pins with almost no effort, and I had to pull the pin out of the connector to pry apart the crimp and recrimp them. Also, the spade receptacle needed to be pried open for the male spade to fit. Almost broke off the spade on the speaker trying to push it together.Happy for the connector fit, but wish the quality were better!
