I used this item on my 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with Monsoon. The center channel speaker had gone bad and rather than cutting and soldering over the dash board I used this item and a 3.5" speaker to replace the bad one. A few minutes worth of work and I was back in business.My best word of advice for this is to go to Metras website and use their look up tool. While Amazon's tool is usually pretty good with the case of these smaller items it is not correct. The two other reviewers obviously didn't take the few minutes to use that site and find the proper fitting harnesses. As it sits Amazon tells me that this items does not fit my car when referencing the manufacturer's site tells you that it does.

These helped with swapping out the stock speakers in my Chevy Cavalier, instead of cutting factory harness so that the replacement speakers would be plug and play.

Despite what the Metra online application guide says, these plugs do not fit my 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix rear speaker connections, and aren't worth the postage to return. Be warned.Update: The correct number for this car is 72-4568.

Arrived quick. MAde easy work of installing the new speakers in my truck. Definitely recommended. No need to solder when you use these.

This adapter was easy to hook up to the factory harness but the clips for the speakers were to small. Not compatible with today’s speakers.
