This adapter made installing my speakers a breeze. Couldn't have taken me more than 10 minutes to do each door! Metra's adapters have really impressed me!

These worked to hook up the speakers in my 1987 Ford Thunderbird door and rear deck speakers but had to use a Zip tie to hold them together to the factory harness. Would not latch to factory harness. Dash speakers required Metra 72-5512 speaker harness.

Let me install after market 6x9 speakers in the rear deck of my 1988 Lincoln Town Car without having to cut any existing wires. Plug and play, and good quality to match.

the gray connectors that attach to the factory wiring did not want to stay attached. So, i ended up cutting off the gray connector part and getting a wire splicer to connect the two wires. the last thing you want happening once you put your door back together is for the speaker to quit working.

it did not fit the factory connecter i ended up putting z-ties around them to keep the connecting secure
