I replaced the front speakers in my 2017 Tacoma yesterday and these wire harness adapters worked perfect. The attached tightly to the speakers and plugged in perfectly to the factory plug.

Purchased this because I was told it fits a 2018 WRX STi door speaker connector. I have a Limited Edition with HK and navigation. DOES NOT FIT. Quality piece and metra is great. But don't get the wrong thing. Thank you.

Plug and play. Nothing difficult about these. I broke more plastic keepers for the trim than I had issues plugging new speakers in.

After 14 years, the speakers in the doors of my 2010 Sequoia had worn out. I got these connectors so that I wouldn't have to use clips or solder the wires together.My Sequoia has the JBL system and these clips are not plug and play. The JBL system in the Sequoia has 6x9 speakers in the lower door and there is a plastic mounting plate used to get clearance from the window and the speaker magnet.This Metra clip will clip into the actual wire harness in the door but the actual wire harness is not clipped into the speaker mounting plate. You will have to take the speaker mounting plate off, pop out the wiring adapter that plugs through the speaker mounting plate and then just dangle the wires loosely through that mounting plate and connect to the speaker.It will work but it's not plug and play and requires a work around. A company as big as Metra ought to have this listed in their description that it is not an exact fit for Toyota's with the JBL sound system

These are the right connectors for a facelift (06-08 ?) sg Subaru Forester XTEN front (rear are different) mid range door speakers,if you are going to aftermarket speakers.Quality seems ok,only down side i can see is the connectors at the speaker end are a very tight fit on the speakers,and the connectors have hard plastic covers that leave a gap where the cable enters the connector (most car hifi connectors have soft covers insulate the connectors and narrows down the grip the cable so there is no gap).
