Great little kit for adding a 2-DIN radio into the storage compartment in a 2006 Honda Accord and allowing retention of the stock heating system controls. Great value for the price.

Typical Metra quality item. The plastic looks nice and fits very well. It blends in well with the rest of the plastic in the vehicle. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Fits a pioneer radio just fine. Keep in mind that some of the very cheap brand radios are a bit bigger and may not fit properly.The wiring harness that is INCLUDED works fine and makes installation very easy. Thanks Metra!

My stock radio stopped working and I got a new radio for Christmas and needed a mounting kit. I found this and bought it. Let me say it was super easy to install comes with everything you need and matched the color of my interior perfectly. It’s very durable to built very well. Little to no gaps would definitely recommend. I do stereo installs a lot and do a lot of speaker wiring with my cars and I always choose metra for all of my wiring and mounting kit needs!!

The cheapo radio on my 2005 Accord broke so I figured it was time to upgrade. It is safe to say the designers of the original head unit did a terrible job at making it a proprietary system; three cables that came with the kit was all I needed to hook up a new Kenwood touchscreen system, which is really the only part of the sound system a person should spend over $200 on. Even though the shift stick is kind of in the way, it still looks like it came with the car (matching plastic) and holds the unit tightly, and as I said, is priced reasonably compared to the kits that want the installer to take the whole A/C interface out.

I got this car from my sister when my truck decided to take a crap on me. This is a 2005 Honda Accord LX Sedan, she stopped driving it because the stereo in the car stopped working. I found that it partially worked but no reliably. I decided I was going to replace the stereo in the car in an economical way, I also decided I wasn't going to buy a new stereo just for this car. I took the Panasonic out of my truck and purchased this kit, when it came in, I went to soldering my connections to the included harness and tore apart the dash and console. This went in with a little patience and work, but looks great and holds the stereo up and in a good position in this vehicle.Since this stereo is older and uses a USB port to connect to my iphone, I ran the extension from behind the stereo, to behind the dash and steering wheel to a port on the left hand side. Now I have easy access to hook up my phone when needed, and good tunes!If you take your time and work through it slowly, this will work for you with no issues!

Installed double din head unit in 2003 accord LX sedan. I have read mixed feedback and the description was a little confusing but the kit I received did indeed include the wiring harness for the vehicle.

Initially I had a tough time putting in my 1 single din stereo + 1 plastic single din drawer. The main issue is that screws are not supplied for the side mounting sleeves. Managed to fit the stereo single din cage (somewhat wobbly) and the plastic drawer below after trying again on the second day.To give it more rigidity, I used 2 8x20mm nuts to screw into the stereo, and 2 8x20mm timber screws to screw into the plastic drawer. Now the unit is solid.The harness itself is untested as my Honda factory loom seems to have gone kaput somewhere. The harness is another big reason for me to buy this as I want to retain the factory stereo clock and backlights.

Works well, fits perfect, fairly easy to install with guidance from YouTube, holds deck firmly in place, comes with wiring harness

The item is already fragile due to long plastic leg. This is my 3rd replacement due to broken leg. As you can see from my photo that one of the leg had already broke through & the other about to. Really disappointed.
