This tool is fantastic. There are many ways to adjust and take measurements. I love how you can I the outside of the tool to get the center diameter of any piece of work. There are instructions that are pretty easy to read and understand. I myself never knew how to use this tool so it is quite user-friendly for someone that is novice and using calipers. It feels good in the hand when using it it’s nice and lightweight but also seems made of good quality materials. The gauges are pretty easy to read and are pretty accurate. I measured the inside of a 18 mm socket and it was precisely that when the tool is calibrated properly calibration is simple. The instructions also tell you how to do it.

The dial calipers are well made, the stainless steel parts fit precisely together and slide cleanly during measurements. I also own a Mitutoyo digital caliper which I used to checked this caliper's accuracy. Its dial marks are set at .02mm increments, but it can usually measure more precisely than that by estimating the dials location between marks.These calipers were built with gearing for inches. There are 25.4mm in one inch, so they altered the dial marks to count from 0 to 100 twice in one rotation, plus increasing the distance between marks from .01mm to .02mm. It makes the dial less accurate and somewhat harder to read, but they save a lot of money by not needing to develop a new gearset. There are some calipers on the market with millimeter gearsets, so the dial goes from 0-100 per rotation and each increment mark is .01mm (however the ones I found were twice the cost).Overall, these are an inexpensive, yet accurate and well built set of calipers. Though I was disappointed that the lens over the dial is cheap plastic that already has some minor scratches. Regardless if treated with care, they should last a long time.

This is a pretty standard dial caliper. Has all the functions you would want, and appears to be accurate enough for what I need it for. Feels a little heavier than my other ones which are not metric. The nice thing about this one is that the case it comes in is very much more premium with nice latches and thick plastic. Not flimsy at all. Great buy

It's an excellent tool. Great precision for the at home use. Excellent build quality. And even comes with a fine hard storage case. Very pleased with this tool. Would recommend. Would order again. I'd say it's great for the DIYer, but if you're working for NASA, then maybe you'd need something more precise. But for me, it's great.
