This has a real bite . Can torque to spec after. Lots of sizes awesome kit. Works like hot knife on butter. Very durable. Quick fix on a difficult problem. Very fast drill and tap.

This is a value priced thread insert kit. The box is a nice metal box. The plastic divider in the box, is sturdy and keeps everything tidy. The thread inserts and tools are of good quality. The taps are marked HSS. I used one size of the inserts. I have used multiple brands before. This seemed near as good as the far more expensive brand name kits. I am pleased with the purchase.

Needed to repair a broken head bolt in my 351w SBF. Good selection of sizes. nice to have multi-sizes in a all-in-one kit! I would recommend!

I was iffy about helicoils but this kit is very nice need for my engine on my quad and it cut through the aluminum perfect and it cut through the aluminum perfect

This is one great looking package, all of the items are well laid out and it’s one of the better tools I’ve purchased in a while. As stated elsewhere, this is to clean up threads on bolts and nuts, not create them as you do with a tap and die set.I like the fact each piece has the size/thread type stamped on it, even the way the items are coloured so you know straight away if you need metric or sae. The container has everything laid out really well and it looks awesome when you open it, not that it should matter but some tool kits have awkward placing of items that have no logic to them.I have tried a few bolt threads and I was very pleased how well it cleans gunk out of the threads, I didn’t have any damaged ones but I have faith it will sort them out too. Get one in your collection, one day you will be needing these.
