Works great. Reads all 3 of my pets chips every time. Fast and easy to use. Holds a charge for a long time. Bright display. Smaller but easy to read.Just be aware there are different readers and microchips on the market. Make sure you know what brand chip your pet has or chip reader you are purchasing. Most readers will find the common microchips out there. Just an fyi for anyone that says this microchip reader doesn’t work.

This microchip reader does exactly what I need it to. I have several microchipped animals and I use this to check their chips from time to time. It will also come in handy for checking lost animals for chips. I seem to be a stray animal magnet, so knowing if a stray has a chip is beneficial for everyone involved. This little scanner is very light and compact and reads very quickly. Only had to rescan one of my cats one time and I think it was due to her longer hair. Worked within seconds on my short haired cats and dog.

Easy to operate and works well. Smaller than my previous unit so takes up less space in my kit.
