Love this. All the kids loved it and had to check out a few things under the scope when they saw this.for the value ,you literally get everything you need.decent size .the images are pretty great. Some of the things people looked at created such an amazingly fun time.but also they learned quite a bit as well. Most of us are very into all things science I this family.everyone had fun looking at things the kids found or chose to look at in depth. Good solid build. A bit overwhelming at first until you get used to it and get a feel for the way you use it. After you explore it and fiddle with it you really get a better understanding of it.how it works a d what it works on. Definitely read the instructions slowly before hand.it does help to guide you along the journey.great items to have around for so many purposes.

As microscopes go for young children some are basic and that's a good way to start but this adds a new level of refinement for your mid aged children. The ability to go to 1500 X through various interchangeable lenses and eyepieces makes it really fun for kids to investigate the mysteries of science. Having a adapter to take photos through a smartphone takes it to another level of creativity and artistry. It's a very complete kit with accessories to cover glass move objects and maintain the microscope kit teaching children how to take care of a delicate instrument. It's been a fun start 2 learning insect anatomy for our seven-year-old and comes well recommended.

This was perfect to help teach my daughter how microscopes work. It comes with plenty of accessories to keep it interesting and works surprisingly well. Good zoom and focus. We have some lessons planned around this in the future. This microscope should handle just about anything we need for the time being an I saved a ton by starting with this kit rather than 4-500 bucks for any other decent starter kit.

I got this for a young child, and it exceeds my expectations. The microscope is well-built, and the lenses are good quality for this price. It will allow all the exploration of leaves and bugs and pond water that a child could want--at a quality that is far beyond what is required.The inclusion of computer/video interface is nice, but not the driver behind my purchase. And I think it would be a fair price without it, so any mileage you get from it is a bonus, in my book.
