It does not look like the one in the photo..no chrome, very light weight...I put 2 brand new AA batteries in and switched it ON and OFF repeatedly and nothing happens...I bought it in July and gifted it to my 8 year old grandson this week. Very disappointing it's just a 30 day money back guarantee.

I originally gave this product a 1 star (you can see that review at the bottom of this one). The company saw my review and sent us a new product. This time, everything was included and IT ACTUALLY WORKS! My daughter is so happy! Five stars for this company's satisfaction process! And five stars for the microscope itself! Worth the $!-------I bought this in September for my daughter's November birthday. She opened it this morning. I was very disappointed when I realized it doesn't work. And to make matters worse, it's only a 30 day money back guarantee. She is extremely disappointed that the one big thing she asked for for her birthday doesn't even work. And I'm disappointed because as a single mom I can't afford to spend $30 on something that doesn't work and cannot return it to purchase one that does.
