Easy to use with no timing issues or complaints so far. Each synth gets a dedicated MIDI port that I can individually select in my DAW. Love it!

Sometimes recording to cakewalk doesn't record. Lights on the interface flash but no recording takes place. Don't see any pattern on when or why this happens. Best description of this box is flakey.

Would give it 5 stars but I needed something more than what it does which is pass MIDI without necessarily being connected to a computer. This needs a computer. It's great if you are only using Ableton or Logic or some other software of that nature. To pass through MIDI to other ports Record needs to be enabled on a track in your software. If you need something that will pass MIDI to other ports then get the Mio xM or xL.

The MIDI switcher hardware works fine, but getting the promised software bundle is made very difficult; in fact, I gave up trying.

My MOTU midi timepiece av could no longer connect with my computer so I ordered the MIDIface... it has not dropped signal at over 20 feet of usb 2 cable.... I am happy with the purchase...
