Good wood for model boats.....but I hate that they put those glued on stickers on the wood....impossible to remove cleanly. Bet the company CEO has never used his own product. Get rid of the stickers

No problem about the plywood that others have experienced. The label residue came off easily with lacquer thinner. I do suggest that you take the labels off promptly - in the past I have had trouble if I waited many months to do this.

The quality of the plywood is quite nice, but the device that cuts it is dull, you do not get 24" of useful product, but more like 23 1/2 because the ends are damaged about a quarter inch on both ends.

The quality of the plywood is outstanding. I would have given it 5 stars but I have an issue with the labels. First, the adhesive on the labels leaves a film on the wood. I use acetone to remove the adhesive but on some boards you can still see where the label was. I think it is because the wood around the label fades. Second, the location of the label is in an area of the sheet that I use. There really is no way to get around this without wasting some of the sheet. I made a recommendation to Midwest Products to relocate the label to a corner and hope they will take that into consideration. If you paint the plywood, just remember to remove the adhesive first and you will have no problems. If you do not paint it, make sure you lay out your plans around the label.

I am extremely disappointed with this piece of birch plywood. It had the potential to be 5 stars - there was a small crack but I was going to overlook that, relatively easy to work around. But there are TWO tags on it that have left a horrible gummy residue, and there's a manufacturer's imprint across the end on the other side(made in Finland, not the U.S. by the way!) - since this is 1/32" thickness, there's no way these defects could be sanded off. This was much too expensive for a 12" x 24" board to begin with, but I needed it quickly so I accepted the price...cutting it down to 12" x 21" to get rid of the flaws...yeah, that's totally unacceptableThank you Amazon for totally taking care of the issue for me - now you just need to reach out to the provider because this is sub-par at best.
