These models perform superior to respective model ASME Performance Requirements. Our offset model aviation snips are "The Sheet metal Tradesman's Choice" because they are truly the easiest models to use in a variety of sheet metal cutting applications. The offset blade pattern flows material away from the blades. This allows the snip to move forward without interference when making cuts through long sheets. It also allows the snip to cut tighter curves than other blade pattern models. I’ve use a couple different brands of snips, Milwaukee, crescent, wiss and none of them compare to these Midwest snips, cut amazingly well, good price, easy as it gets to use, good quality snips will definitely last me, accurate super sharp cuts, long lasting material that it’s made out of.

The midwest cutters are simply the best that I have used for HVAC construction work. The only reason I had to buy replacements was due to my old ones growing legs and walking away. If you need cutters these will serve you well.

i don’t know where i’d be if i harden t made this purchase, working with steel stud, and ceiling grid they have stayed sharp and taken lots of abuse

Use snips daily at work and these are by far my favourite. The grips can hurt a little at first but only when cutting all day! Hand gets used to it! Dare I say it but blow milwaukee snips out of water! They were my go to snips up till I tried these. Much better cut with these. Worth every penny
