These work very well. Worth the money and hold the mechanical arm firmly against fence. Better than muffler clamps or U clamps.

This bracket is holding since I put few sheet metal screws to pin it to the gate. The rubber pieces don’t stay on. The theory of the rubber pieces makes sense, on the gate that the top tube has not been damaged due to another bracket. The picture shows to have pieces of PVC to correct the problem and the sheet metal screws to keep the bracket from shifting. I would recommend putting two sheet metal screws through the bracket so the bracket cannot move. If the bracket is over tighten, it will squash the tube.

Mighty Mule's pitiful design screwed up my gate and continued to slip for 6 months until finally ordering these clamps and they work perfect.

Great product, fits my needs as described …. second purchase …. but received with no hardware! Had to lumber down to local Ace & get bolts, washers & nuts to finish before the weekend was over. Bummer but otherwise product is good quality & solid.
