I recently purchased an enclosed trailer with two led light strips mounted to the ceiling. The manufacturer used a 5ah battery mounted to the inside front wall to power them, that’s charged off of the tow vehicle while driving. It worked well, but the battery capacity limited how long the lights could be used. I searched and searched for a battery box that I could mount to the front wall (like the manufacturer had done), and finally came across this. I now have almost triple the capacity (two 7ah batteries). I didn’t use the harness that came with this box, but did use the included firing at the bottom to route an external charging plug through. I drilled a 3/4†hole in the back to route the existing wiring coming through the wall to the oem battery box into this one, and placed anti slip drawer liner under each battery. It holds the batteries securely and is very well made. I did put a random sticker on the front, so it didn’t look so plain.

I've been using an old car battery for my ghost gate. It worked but looked cheap. I got this as an upgrade and it's perfect. Plug and play with ghost control board.

The only complaint I have is that the wiring harness for this is not designed to accommodate wiring in series for 24volts. Considering most people who buy this are using it for an automatic gate, you'd think the manufacturer would provide a jumper wire to allow you to wire in series (for 24v) or parallel (12v with increased capacity) That way it would provide for universal needs. Not an issue. I clipped the extra leads and made a jumper. Just took more time.
