I was a bit worried about purchasing this after reading other reviews here, but I have to say I'm so glad I did. The low profile allows it to rest under our desk without sticking out and the drawers inside still have room. Letter size files hang just fine and do not need an inner frame. Legal size files should hang fine too, just the opposite direction (I haven't tried it though). Of course, it does not come with the hanging files itself.Assembly: My file cabinet came packaged really nicely with no damage. There was a bit of a bend to part of the inner frame on one side which worried me for one hot second, until I realized it was fine and that the cabinet would neither show it nor would it prevent it from being put together (in fact, the bend helped keep the bottom frame tightly attached to the side frame, so I suppose that was purposeful). Assembly was easy - I watched the video when I ordered it, but only used the booklet that came with it (side note, the package even came with a screwdriver!). Pay attention to the small print in there and do it step-by-step; if you can put together Lego or and piece of Ikea furniture, you'll be just fine. For folks in the reviews saying there were issues with the drawers, you have to go and really click the drawers into place (it says this in the last page of the directions, folks) even if you think you've already done that. You'll know they are in place because your drawers will close smoothly and they will be aligned. It took me about 25 minutes to fully unpack this and get it built and set up. Not bad, particularly for the price point.Bottom line: price is good, style looks clean, if you can follow directions and use a screwdriver, you'll be fine.

very sturdy and fairly easy to put together. The instructions had a few doubts with a certain part of it putting it together but definately worth the money

This is a very good file cabinet for under desk or in the corner. The cabinet is durable and on wheels, which makes it easy to move around. It also has a lock.

This product is the worst I have ever purchased. It had to be assembled with horrible instructions. When finally put together and in place drawers didn’t function because of a lock that you had to reach inside and around the metal corner to release to open/close … if it manages to do that. Within minutes of putting files in, one realized you must have hanging files or they won’t stand up. BUT, the drawer won’t close because the tabs on the files that interfere with the top edge of the cabinet and forget hanging and Manila files together. No way to close the drawer with those inside! So it topples over because of the weight, with or without files, even with the bottom drawer heavy with stacked file folders! I got knocked backwards on my desk chair and almost fell. If a child pulled on the handle even if it was closed, I’m afraid it would be a bad situation. My problem with it was solved by Amazon and the seller, but I cautioned all that I thought this product shouldn’t be on the market. I located a similar looking one, but it was a quality product, delivered assembled and ready to use. And it came with optional wheels! Best yet: it was less money.

I researched a bunch of different 2 drawer filing cabinets to replace the old one I inherited from my Grandfather. The old one had no slider mechanism (metal rail on metal rail) and constantly bound up and bent and drove me wild.This one from MIIIKO is fabulous. It came well packaged and protected - though one drawer had some bent metal that I had to straighten fairly easily but otherwise unblemished. Instructions were good and extra screws provided in case I lost some. I was SO pleased to find a nylon roller mechanism with ball bearings that make the drawers sliding in and out so reliable - just as described. This serves to not distort the overall unit and will surely keep it looking great and working well for many years. I also like the fact that I can't open both drawers at the same time and the bottom drawer has a wheel to keep things balanced. Was a bit concerned since I was to place it in a carpeted office - however the small stability wheel works just fine on the carpet and zero problems.Really a fine unit and highly recommended. I rarely write reviews but the sheer satisfaction I got from it being built just how it was advertised gave me the motivation to let others know.

The price is steep for the level of assembly required. The assembly steps aren’t hard themselves, but imperfect piece alignment made it tough to get through. No way I could have finished without an electric screwdriver.Make sure you don’t miss the step of pulling the rod hook up under the lock, before fixing the top piece in place! I had to go back and pull it all apart to redo.One of the pre-installed sliders came loose and messed up the whole drawer alignments, had to figure that out and fix on my own without any instructions for it.Got there in the end, but not very user-friendly.

Easy to build, took about 20 minutes. It’s good quality so its not wobbly or feeling like its gunna fall apart. Sturdy and small. Perfect for a small business.

Cant put wheels on due to press fit nut missing on bottom of unit. Yeah maybe its "assembled" already but now i have to figure out how to fix it. Pretty good packaging which protected the corners and stuff from damage though and the drawers work
