I needed to free up space in my home office, and saw this black metal cabinet on Amazon. It's dimensions enabled it to fit perfectly into a little alcove in my office (picture attached). It is sturdy and durable, and has the capability of locking the top cabinet, as well as the 4 drawers below it. Keeps my most valuable of valuables safe and secure. It was a little tedious assembling it; quite a few parts and hardware included. The assembly video that was on the original Amazon listing helped me better than the written instructions that came with it. I had a little trouble fully snapping in the lower 4 drawers, but the manufacturer reached out and troubleshot my problem and walked me through completing the assembly of the cabinet. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs additional storage and who can also navigate an approximate one hour assembly. 5 Stars!

For the price this actually performs quite well. It assembled easily, less than an hour. The slides work well and the cabinet as a whole is steady. I wouldn’t jump up and down on it but for its designed purpose it exceeds my expectations.

Design for assembly was poor. Screw locations were difficult to get to, screw driver had to be at odd angles to drive screw due to being to close to the surface and located right at permanently installed tracks. Instructions had incorrect parts referenced in one section. Very stable and good value other than assembly frustrations.

The cabinet was a simple assembly. After reading all the reviews, I read the instructions first, laid out every peice and took a deep breath bc I understood I wasn't going to be able to take it apart and send it back. All the pieces were there, I got a real tool instead of what it came with, and it was easy- and I'm pregnant. It's easy to use, true to size, and it was lightweight.

From other reviews I assumed the assembly was going to be horrible and the directions lacking. That, frankly, is just not true. The directions are perfectly adequate. What I had trouble with was getting some of those screws in tightly. You WILL need a drill with an extension at least for the corner when adding the top. I also found flipping it on its top to see and get enough pressure was helpful, but that's not in the directions. The inside of a black file cabinet is hard to see, go figure. I had a slight issue with a drawer sticking, but took it back out and lined up the pieces again-works like a charm.Quality wise, the metal is very light and the design has you bend pieces for the drawers. It was fairly easy to do, and despite it being wobbly the metal is quite sturdy. The main benefit is that the file cabinet is much lighter weight.Overall, happy with my purchase.

This filing cabinet was exactly what I needed. The size is perfect and the you can’t beat the price. It does seem to leave finger print marks easily…nothing a wipe down won’t fix!

I love these cabinets. It took us an hour to put 2 of them together once we read the directions... Make sure you read the directions.. they actually know what they are talking about. I did not, I skipped ahead and had to take it apart so the drawers could lock properly.

After spending 2hrs assembling this from instructions that had almost no words, I realized the tracks the drawers slide on were misaligned almost an inch. The top drawer doesn’t close and there’s a big gap under the bottom drawer. And now they’re asking for it to be returned in original packaging, which I threw away because of all the messy styrofoam it contained. I will never buy furniture from Amazon again—it’s generally poor quality and they make it as difficult as possible to get your money back.

Looks great, well priced versus big box stores.Took some time to assembleQuality is goodFunctions exactly how I need it - also offers a safety feature that if 1 drawer is open you can’t open the other drawers at the same timeUses basic screws so tools you would have at home.
