This pole is expensive. But, it is sturdy and exactly what I needed. If I only have to buy it once, then it's a decent value for the money.

When you have a skylight that requires one of these poles, and you don't have one, you have a problem. I recently acquired a house that came with just that problem. I bought this and, bingo, problem gone.
