I don't know why I didn't own this sooner. I'm a contractor, I don't always do concrete work or drywall work but I do enough of it. Used to mix small batches by hand, on larger jobs I had an old electric drill I would use, and I probably burned out a couple of them. This is beautiful. Has plenty of power, has the extra handle for stability, which is also adjustable. And you have variable speed. It has no problem mixing drywall mud, or even polymer modified concrete patch. And that stuff is thicker than normal concrete. If you're thinking about getting it, get it, you won't regret it.

Used it for joint compound mixing. Definitely a winner! Cleanup was a breeze. Just have a brush (bottle brush) handy to scrape off anything that doesn't come off in water. Love this tool!
