I used this for the first time today and was pleased with it. It is lightweight and easy to use for me as a 66 year-old female. However it doesn’t cut as smooth as I was expecting (I guess I was expecting it to operate like a regular chainsaw) but it will work for what I need. I wish the instruction manual was a little more thorough. There is no mention of how often to oil the chain when using or if there is a specific type oil that should be used. It did come with a little bottle of oil - maybe a fourth of a teaspoon. But all in all for the price it will serve the purpose.

I just bought and started to use this little saw. No one mentioned that it doesn’t have an oiler system. You have to drip the oil on every 10 cuts.That’s kind of a pain to keep track of, and if you don’t you can smell the chain burning. Tightening the chain is also awkward to do. I had purchased another little saw like this from Amazon so I had it to compare to this one. It performed more smoothly, cut better, and had an auto oiling system. Unfortunately Amazon does not sell that saw any more. It also came with an 8†bar and chain which I liked.
