For twenty dollars USD, this is pretty good! The build quality isn't the best you've ever seen, but it's solid aluminum construction, and isn't bad at all. I do wish the carrying case it came with had some kind of distinguishing features on the outside; a logo, a colored band, SOMETHING. As-is, I'm never going to remember what's inside such a generic-looking case, so will probably attach something colorful like a zip-tie to the handle or zipper.Don't use the batteries it came with. They're super low quality, so unless you're using this scale every day (and why would you be), they'll end up rupturing eventually. Instead, use some high quality major brand batteries, and use these cheap ones in something that will use them up within a month or two.

... the included S hook up to 300 kilograms or 660 pounds.You can switch between measuring in Newtons, kilograms or pounds.The set up is easy: there's a small screwdriver included to get access to the battery compartment (it takes 3 AA cell batteries & a set of 3 correctly sized & fully charged batteries is also included. It has a nice bright & easy to read screen with big digits.The only thing I am not totally clear on from the included instruction booklet is how to best calibrate this scale but there are some troubleshooting & operating tips described in it (let it warm up for 30 seconds before tareing or weighing anything & don't operate it in extremes of cold or heat, the best temperature range is between 10-40 degrees Celsius).4 out of 5 stars from me.

See my photos. This is larger than I thought, although the listing does give the exact dimensions. It is a metal enclosure, not plastic. It looks very sturdy. I tested it with a bucket of rice on our bathroom scale. The bathroom scale has been pretty accurate at this weight, as we have used it to weigh luggage, which would then be weighed at the airport. You can see from the photos that the bathroom scale measured "47.2 lbs" whereas this scale measured "46.6 lbs." That is pretty close.It comes with carbon-zinc, non-alkaline batteries. Batteries are easy to put in by removing the two screws on the battery cover, which the provided screwdriver was too small to get open, so I used a better screwdriver. The springs on the negative terminals are narrow/long, so I recommend making sure that they are centered on the battery terminal when putting each battery in. But it is not a problem.As a Vine reviewer, I am expected to post a review promptly after receiving the product, so of course can say nothing about long term results. But the construction looks good.

I have tested this with 10, 100, 300lbs and they all are pretty spot on. The body feels strong and there was no issues getting everything setup. Super pleased with how it operates!

Included case is useful, screwdriver not so much. Provided batteries do not fit, and standard Sanyo Eneloop batteries do not fit either; Totally useless product if the batteries cannot possibly fit. Straight to the trash bin unfortunately.

I am no hunter but I for sure won't be paying for overweight bags next time I travel 😀The scale is made of heavy duty aluminum and has a big and nice readable backlit display. It comes with a hardshell case, a large carabiner and an S hook, a measuring tape and a small phillips screwdriver to open the battery compartment. 3xAA batteries included!Great kit and not a single thing to complain!
