I used a box of cake mix. It made about 16 of these, and it only took about 15 minutes to finish them all. It was moist and delicious. Officially one of my favorite gadgets.

I have a kitchen appliance for just about everything, but I did not have a donut maker. Before getting this one, I had never even thought about it but I'm so glad that I went ahead and added this one to my collection. It's always nice to be able to make your own food so you can control the ingredients. For these Donuts especially it's good because I can control the type and level of sweetness. It's easy to just make a small batch from dough that only takes a few ingredients. And although I do wish the plates came off so I could wash them separately, it's not difficult to clean up because of the non-stick coating. I enjoy making my own Donuts because I can even make extra and freeze them for later. I'm very pleased with this product!

This is a nice iron and I love all the shapes you can make. I use it with my waffle dough so I make waffle donuts. It is very light but also heats a little uneven. So you have a few "test" donuts that result but nothing too bad. Just be sure to have extra dough on hand.

This donut maker is a great for the grandkids. It’s so easy to use and makes a delicious treat! Just plug it in and wait for the green light indicator, fill up the molds with batter, close and latch the lid, and in about 5-7 minutes you have little warm donuts!! The shapes are a cute addition also. The machine cleans up easy and stores nicely. Perfect little small appliance addition to the kitchen!

I love this! I was so excited to get this. I was able to make fresh donuts. It works like a charm. I dont have to worry about buying donuts, and I am able to make my own they way I want to. I love this donut maker!

We really wanted to like this "donut-maker," but found no difference between this and a sandwich maker, except for the "six donut shapes" included in the cooking plate.We tried some of the recipes and we just didn't like them at all. They didn't taste like donuts. We use it occasionally for pancakes, but we barely use it at all.

I love this donut maker. It's totally nonstick, bakes each batch in abt 5 minutes. Lot's of compliments on the finished product! I use my own recipes, or for quick Donuts I'll even use a cake mix.
