I love this donut maker especially as a beginner because the heat level isnt overwhelming especially if you are making donuts with kids. Its cute, easy to clean, works well without sticking and making tasty donuts in a great amount of cook time.

On Sunday mornings the family tries to do something special before everyone heads out for the day. While the kids do carry on they have more important things to do than hang at home, the tone changed when I pulled out the mini donut maker as a Sunday brunch option.The mini donut maker has a recipe book that gives you a number of options when making different donuts. Personally, I like plain donuts with frosting, but the kids were making blueberry and strawberry donuts (and they were delicious too). Overall we had a blast making and devouring homemade donuts and it was a perfect family event.The donut machine comes with a squeeze bottle so you can easily put the batter in the proper areas. I found that the most time consuming part was when I mixed the batter and placed in the bottle. From there you quickly fill the mold on one side of the donut machine and close the lid. The machine gets hot but it works very well. The donuts come out brown on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It's also easy to get the donut out of the mold so you can fill it up again and make more. While the donuts are smaller than normal, they taste delicious and there is nothing wrong with having more than one. The donuts are especially delicious when still warm.This was a fun experience and we are planning to make donuts a couple times a month. With all the options of different flavors, this was a great option for our family. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a fast way to make donuts that taste great.
