Great little heat gun for small projects. I bought mine to re-wrap 18650 vape batteries with shrink wrap. Did the trick quickly and effectively. It made short work of the shrink wrap, so I didn't have it running for that long all at once (AKA no overheating / shutting off issues). Truthfully, even if this heat gun only lasts a short while (probably a couple years with the amount I'll need it), at $9, it's a stupidly good bargain. Make no mistake, this is an inexpensive Chinese product, because most stuff is now (sigh), but so far I'm impressed. Does what it says it will do. Would recommend.A tip for anyone re-wrapping batteries. Get yourself a flat heat resistant silicone pad / pot holder, to place your batteries on. This heat gun will make them very warm / hot, plus you can protect your work surface. Love this heat gun! Great price for a great product. I’ve used it frequently for about a year and haven’t had any issues. I use it for candle making and taking labels off of bottles. Happy with the purchase!

This heat gun comes in handy. I can clean it easier than i thought. I just hate the cord I'd so short. Longer cord would make thus a 5 star.

Cord is very short, difficult to use at desk for drying watercolours without some type of extension cord.
