Precautions:

Did several things with it, it takes hard wood no problem, the tail stock is not very good, sonce it dont press the piece ut will quickly loos pressure and everything start to shake, you need to really press it hard to work.The tools are a joke - get a nice set before you buy this

The lathe is great. Made with metal not plastic. The lathe tools leave a little to be desired though. Still a good deal for the money.

Motor is too weak, wood stops when you try to cut. Tailstock lost grip, ejecting the wood AND a bearing - MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE!
