I love the compactness and light weight of this umbrella. The one I received opens easily and there's a button you push to release for closure. The only difficult part is refolding it. I can do it and it's fits back neatly in the cover, but it takes longer than other folding umbrellas because of the extra fabric folds to get it to be so small. I want to use it mostly as a sun umbrella, but appreciate it will come in handy if there's a shower and small, lightweight makes it perfect for travel.

We bought this for my little girl. She always wanted a pink umbrella. It was terribly made. Flimsy, hard to open and had a strong smell once taken out of the box.
