Unfortunately, I found better quick release options than the cold shoe method for my microphones, so these are getting returned unused. However I did play around with them for a second and they just scream and ooze quality. I'm actually kinda bummed I DON'T need them because they're definitely the nicest ones I've ever seen.If you're in the market for some really high quality cold shoe "feet" for your camera, microphone, monitor, etc, then look no further than these. To me, they're the Rolls Royce of them and if i EVER need cold shoe adapters in the future it'll be these without a doubt.The machining is perfect, I like that they have 3/8" stronger threads AND the screws have rubber on them so you get a TIGHT lock on whatever you're screwing these onto. Every detail has been paid attention to. And I love that they have holes to further tighten them down with a tiny Allen wrench. Lastly, the color combo looks amazing and very eye catching ✌ï¸

I bought this to mount a monitor and mic. The monitor is heavy especially with 2 batteries snapped in and the coldshoe just wouldn't remain stable, but having the 1/4 and 3/8 worked out, although aligning them is always a pain as they never seem to tighten in the position you need. I got lucky. I feel this is a sub $10 part that I'm overpaying for like most camera equipment, but compared to some of the cheaper ones and if you're gear is as heavy, this will serve you well. The rubberized grip helps and the rest feels more durable than cheaper ones I've tried.

The grip makes tightening and loosening accessories easy. The thicker bore of it makes it a lot more resistant to bending and damage. The rubber allows the knobs to tighten and stay tight as they grab onto the cold shoe and your attachments. I would purchase again.

Good idea in theory but my flash just kept going off for no reason and didn’t connect properly to the hot shoe
