Bought this to go with my new Minka-Aire fan that came with a remote. When we installed the fan, we didn't change the factory settings, and all the dipswitches were set to off. When we installed this wall control, we thought they were also set to all off, but they were set to all ON. Make sure to double check- when we read the instructions, it said it's already set to match your device. So we didn't check- at first we thought it was one or the other, and we could not use our remote, but we were wrong about this- they will work together.

Switch functionality is great. Easy to install. Blue indicator light is way too bright. I disassembled switch in order to tape the light to limit the intensity. Simple fix, but do yourself a favor and disassemble and tape the light before you install. Will save you from installing twice.

Easy to install but product buttons stop working at less than 3 months!

After losing our original remote, this worked great as a wall option so we don't lose another remote. Took a little figuring out on the website to get it to sync with the fan, but worked great!!

FC 1000 works with the 52 inch Minka Aire fan Xtreme H2O. Use FC 400 for the larger same style fans.

Bought a couple of these for the Minka Twists in my living room and the Minka Chubby in my bedroom. They have a nice finish and are well made. It was not difficult to synch each wall switch individually to each fan and both the remotes still work (you just need to set the pins in each correctly remembering that the wall switch has fewer pins than the remotes).HomeKit: I was initially disappointed that I was giving up HomeKit compatible switches, but the Bond app includes an option to add Siri Shortcuts so it was worth getting a wall switch specifically tailored to the fans.Blue Light: These come with a built in blue light under the power switch that you can’t turn off. It looks snazzy in the living room but I did not want that in my bedroom so I unscrewed that various parts of the switch and wrapped the small LED light in electrical tape. I also added some electrical tape to the inside of the power switch to block any light leak. Worked like a charm and the switch is now dark. It would be nice if that were an option out of the box.3 way switch: These are not compatible with a three-way switch. Between the wall switch, app, Siri, and remotes I don’t miss the additional switches. But it does mean you may end up needing to rewire a switch box and do some drywall work if you want to remove the old switches instead of just leaving them on all the time. One bonus of installing these on a three way switch is that you can use the other switch to turn the power off so that it’s easier to sync the Minka wall switch or remote in the first 60 seconds.Definitely a nice accessory.

This functions properly for our unit. We upgraded our fan in our primary bedroom and the new fan had additional speeds and so we needed a new wall remote control to operate. It was fairly straight forward but the instructions didn't match perfectly, but perhaps that has to do more with how the previous owners installed the unit. In any case, the Blue LED which is illuminated when the unit is powered is WAY TO BRIGHT. This seems like an obvious product design error. I'm not talking just a little bright like those dim amber-lighted switch plates. I would describe it as 2-3x brighter than a power strip light or your microwave clock, but BLUE which seems to make it worse. We had to take the black electrical tape and then use a clipping of a white mailing label to mask the brightness. I don't usually write reviews, and don't get me wrong, the switch works perfectly, I am just so surprised that there would be this big of a flaw in their design. I don't know anyone who would want that bight of an LED in their bedrooms which is certainly a primary use case for something like this.

Never misses a command. I would prefer bigger less “ gummy “ controls, but works as advertised.
