Here in the Northeast where I live lately the weather has become more volatile and more explosive every year we recently had a bat of heavy winter storms and damaging winds which took down trees and several one destroyed things on my property one of them was a metal shed that we had been standing for years was damaged by women's breaking on it the roofs panels and some of the side panels with damaged beyond repair and needed to be replaced I had tried drilling them out with a standard drill bit and did nothing but break the bits lose control of the drill and on two occasions drilled my finger which still has bandages on them I knew they had to be a better way but wasn't really sure what it was until I came across this tool but actually solves all those problem it actually sizes from eighth inch rivets to quarter inch rivets it is so absurdly easy to use it usually like a regular drill bit but what it does is the drill bit in the center cause out the pin or at least the location where the pin used to be and the top teeth cut the actual rivet part out making a smooth clean hole without damaging yourself or what you're trying to remove the rivet from I personally use an 18-volt cordless drill and it was more than sufficient to power through the bits that I received was sharpest can be as well as the outer portion of the rivet tool removal that ate through the steel rivets with authority although the roof panels were only on with 8th inch rivets the side panels and the doors are held in with quarter inch rivets so in the event I have any further problems I know exactly how to remove the rivets to replace with new ones in addition to that on some of the PVC storage boxes that are on my property I took out all of the old rusted rivets with the new Rivet tool removal and added a aluminum and stainless ones that I have purchased over the years for the life of me I couldn't figure out why they put steel rivets in a PVC storage box but I've solved the problem this tool is absolutely a lifesaver I would recommend it to anyone and everyone who was removing Rivets and doesn't want the damage themselves the tools or whatever they're working on it is probably one of the more functional things I've bought this year it seems to be well made out of quality materials with good attention to quality control all contained in a little case and all the bits and cutters have their own little compartments I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in it it is extremely functional and easy to use.

Ordered this tool to remove rivets in an Airstream remodel. This takes out the guesswork in removing rivets, as it removes the head only and leaves the original hole intact. Attaches to any drill; I'm using it with my trusty DeWalt. Can use it with a 12v or 20v cordless drill, it doesn't require any special amount of power. Comes with a good selection of bits of varying sizes. Well made and solid.

Big fan of this spot weld big cutter. Usually these only have one head that you can flip when the teeth are wore down. On this cutter it has multiple heads, multiple drills that you can change. Basically this tool is like buying 5 spot weld cutters. I’ve not looked into it but I’m sure can buy these heads when these are wore out.It works as good as the high end brands I’ve bought. Once the drill taps a hole the stud keeps the cutter from walking around.

Very useful tool, and makes removing rivets quick and easy!Packaged nicely and feels well made, these saved a lot of time and headaches while removing some rivets from my aluminum trailer.Comes with a nice variety of sizes too.If you have a project where you need to remove a lot of rivets, just get this and save yourself a lot of time.

This tool beats the heck out of doing it by sight with a normal drill bit. The head is adjustable so that you can control the drilling depth, and there are drills included for all the normal rivet sizes. I have two small complaints: one, there are no instructions, leaving you to guess how this thing goes together when you need to switch drills, and two, the included bits are a bit crooked or not mounted precisely in line. This results in wobbling when drilling rivets out. I didn't try it, but suspect replacing the included bits with better quality bits might eliminate this problem. Still, even with the wobbling this tool results in clean, reusable rivet holes with little to no hole elongation.
