Love this as it makes kite flying easy. Ot comes with 1000 feet of string which is plenty enough. Its durable, really functional and easy to use and assemble. I highly recommend it.

Not a bad kite winder. Nice big winding knob.Two issues:There is no documentation whatsoever as to the pound strength of the line. Is it 15, 25 or 50 pound line?Who knows.But the killer and reason to avoid this real is that the brake/lock mechanism is a knob you have to twist.It pushes out a TINY piece of plastic. No way that's going to last and survive on a hard pulling kite which is when you need the brake the most.I keep trying these chinese hand reels and each time, they keep missing the mark.The best option is still the simply Yo-Yo reel and a good pair of leather gloves.
