I bought this to replace a really old hammer I had that had a LOT of use but got misplaced. This seems to be well made and the head is on it tightly. The handle is a lot longer than many that are this weight which is nice as it gives you leverage to get a good swing. I had put a longer handle on the old one I had and this is probably slightly longer than even that one was.
