This review is on the STAHLWILLE 70120001 1/4 lb hammer sold via Amazon. Other hammers of this model sold elsewhere may be different. This one is not made in Germany. No product identifiers on the hammer, type, model, certifications, normally expected on a Germany-made tool. And it looks very different to the pic on the original Stahwille website.Quality of the head is very rough, the wedge entry is not leveled and polished as expected on professionally made hammers. It looks like it may eventually pop out or fly off. I'm starting to think that this *Germany-made-quality* is a hugely overrated thing of the past. But at least the head is perpendicular to the handle :)However, will it sit firmly? Or for long? No confidence. I will retain it as I needed a very small hammer. However, if I new what this one is, most likely I would have bought another brand which I am more confident in.Overall I do not recommend it.
