I bought these to shield my car fobs from thieves who can use a transponder device to mimic the signal and steal my car. So far the car hasn't been stolen, so it must be working, right? I periodically check to be sure they're working my trying to start the car with the key fob inside if these inside the faraday pouch. So far, it hasn't started.

Works better than others I have tried, durable so far. I have to open and partially remove the key for the key to work, which I like. Some that I have used won't block if there is a crinkle or any gap in the closure but this one works fine.

Playing on my paranoid fears that there are bad people in this world looking to separate me from my car and also that my car’s battery seems to drain from sporadic use perhaps because my key fobs are still within range and therefore keeping my car from actually going to sleep - these seemed worth a try. Reasonably priced and Amazon’s return policy in case they didn’t work as described didn’t hurt either.With my key fob in this bag and me standing at the car door, I could not unlock the car! I removed the key fob and of course the car allowed me to unlock.The cases are flexible and therefore not cumbersome in your pocket or purse.Cons:The flap shape makes it a little harder to fold under the elastic band - not a huuuge deal but perhaps version 2 will have tapered flaps.The elastic strap seems like it might be an issue after long term use. Stands to reason that if you stretch this daily to tuck and untuck the flap the point of failure will be where the elastic band is sewn into the sides of the case. This has not actually happened to me as I’ve only had these for a little while and I don’t use this car frequently but….the elastic was a little flimsy as elastic straps go.Still - for the price and because it works as described - give this 4 stars (5 stars if it had a sturdier strap and a tapered flap - probably worth spending a few extra dollars if they incorporate this in versions 2)

This is military-grade. Blocks my car's keyfob signal from leaking out, even when I'm RIGHT NEXT TO THE CAR (my courtesy lights come on when the fob is out, so I KNOW when the car can detect the signal). After you reach your destination, the pouch fits in a pocket or purse.Keyfobs ALWAYS put out a faint signal when not blocked, even when NO buttons are being pushed; that's how people have had their cars stolen from their drive or their garage. The thieves grab that faint trickling-out-signal of the fob (from inside your house!) with a little relay box, electronically copy it (sometimes while standing out by the garage door), then point the box at the victim's car and DRIVE IT AWAY.The inside of the pouch is smooth fabric, coated with metallic signal-blocking material. It does wear off in places after a time, the keyfob being dragged in & out over and over thins the coating, and the signal will leak out. That's the convenience of the pouch being flexible tho (and a pouch with a zipper closure does NOT work; the signal leaks out between the closed zipper's teeth!).That's why there are 2 pouches in the pack; you'll have a spare.Another good option is an actual "Faraday box" that holds all your keyfobs when they're at home, but some people aren't able to designate a specific place for them inside the home. 🤷â€â™€ï¸

Conforme et fonctionne parfaitement. J'ai acheté ceci car mon étagère est trop proche du garage et la voiture restait déverrouillée. Attention à ne pas mettre votre clé de voiture dedans lorsque la clé est dans l'habitacle, sinon... la voiture se verrouillera en pensant que la clé est pas là ... et la clé sera bloquée dans la voiture...
