Soak the roller sleeve in the paint for a minute or so to fill it with paint, but remember not to let it overfill.

Roll it onto a flat surface at a medium speed, don't roll it too fast.

These rollers hold a lot of paint and made painting my walls inside my house quick and fairly easy in one coat. I would probable get a larger roller but these made it easy to get around mirrors and outlets just fine. Easier clean up too. These rollers worked better on my textured walls that a 9” roller that was made for smooth to semi textured surfaces. If you tape around items or for painting one wall and tapping adjoining walls and ceiling, you can use these rollers to get rite up to the tape line without going over the tape or having to use a paint brush to paint up to the tape line like 9” rollers, so that is a large time saver.

I use white-foam rollers for alkyd enamel. These were for refinishing a few projects. The result was a slightly pebble-textured gloss finish that looks perfectly professional.
