I last used them with an aftermarket layout table on my Sherline mill, they worked superbly with a fly cutter. Normally I would not surface a piece using this method, I would use the 4 jaw chuck, but those jaws wouldn’t open quite wide enough…. And I wanted to test these new parts. Everything held tight, and the brass pieces stayed in place when removing the part for measuring. I had 6 nuts in place, I could loosen just one side to remove the part. HIGHLY recommended, one day you will need to secure a weird shaped piece and you will say “AHA†and grab these.Now if somebody can tell me how to stop the “static cling†of those plastic particles, I would be very grateful.
