Frankly, I was floored when I got this tool. Heavy duty metal construction. Bubble level to be sure you're straight on the wall and super easy to read. I have done a little crown molding in my day, but had a bow window the builder even skipped doing. When I measured it, I had a 24d, 11d, 7d 8d 13d and 23d angle in the window bay. Got every one of them perfect with one cut. (d=degree angle) Thank You!!!!

Where has this tool been all my life? Like many of you I assumed most miter cuts were either 45 or 90 degrees. With variances in materials, and 'wavy' wall surfaces that isn't necessarily true. With a miter saw protractor, cuts can result in tight joints. This is an easy to use tool that is very well made (you'll have it for the rest of your life...probably).

I haven't used this yet but it seems well made. The joi t is a little stiff but this may be by design so it doesn't oset its setting when you travel to your miter saw.My only real complaint is that the instructions could be a bit clearer. Also it would help if they were online in case you lose the sheet they are printed on.

this protractor helps take the guesswork and extra cuts out of hanging crown molding, especially for a novice woodworker. Get one if you have a job coming up. You'll be glad that you have it.

This is exactly what I needed. I use it to make sure the shelves fit correctly in a closet as the walls are seldom square. I measure the smallest side and then put the protractor in the corner on the back wall and push both sides and then take it directly to my shelf piece and draw the correct line on edge of shelf. Cut and the shelf board fits perfectly on back and both walls and requires very little caulk to fill in the small space. The tension is very stiff but perfect for how I use it, to transfer the angle correctly from wall to shelf. Would definitely but it again.

Used this tool for a flooring project and it helped greatly with cutting molding and floor boards to the correct angles needed.

I just wish it wasn’t black, I work exterior trim replacement mostly and you never find black tools in much and bushes when they pull it from your bag but it’s built solid as a rock and I definitely don’t worry about it coming apart on me

Easy to use. Solid, little stiffer than shown on videos but I am sure will loosen with use for easier use. Lose the guess work or brain scratching.

Can’t give five stars as not yet used item yet seems to be well made time will tell got a job lined up to use it on so will see hope it’s money well spent

It is a amazing tool and makes more easier to do the conner for baseboards and crowns molding. I am really satisfied with the result. Best to have it in your tool collection.
