This thing will melt your lead bars in just a little bit. You can make your own fishing weights easily with this melting pot. It works really well

Do not buy the product I received was defective then the replacement was doing the same thing the 1st one did so I returned it for a refund and I got robbed of a so called restocking fee for a defective item a cast iron pot after use with lead will rust with in a few days there's no stopping it even when oiled then they went into broken record mode saying cannot discuss anymore on this matter even though they said to wait for the restocking fee to be refunded 2months agoAgain don't buy go with a lee precision pot 20Lb insteadWould not recommend putting more than 4Lb in the pot due to difficulty to pour properlyOk so I have already had 2 of these over the course of roughly 55days and the same issue was arising there was a smell of burning plastic then smoke then the product wouldn't work anymore the second one I had starred to show the same signs and I got a brief smell of burning plastic and I saw a tiny bit of smoke and that's when I called it the product is probably ok for very little use maybe 5 to 10Lb every now and again not 200Lb to 300Lb of lead every night hahaha but if your looking for a hobby item yes by all means get this but for production probably best to just do the lee precision 20Lb melting pot with extra support legs because you can replace the parts that go bad instead of buying a whole brand new device

This lead melting pot was recommended to me by my partner. We often go fishing together, and as he said, this device is very convenient. It can melt lead blocks and pour them according to my mold. It was a novel experience and worth it.

I use this to melt wax and plastic for my crafts. I wanted something that was really small and portable. It’s really quick to heat up. So far it has not disappointed me. Maybe I’ll try it with other metals soon.

It works great and is consistent in it's heating. You can pay a lot more for the same product. But why would you? Do not add more than 4LB

The heater core burned out after one use, and now it won’t heat at all. The cord also started to burn after just a few minutes. It’s poorly made and fails to deliver the heat needed for casting. I feel like I wasted my money on something that couldn’t even last two days.

You can pay a lot more for the same product. But why would you? It works great and is consistent in it's heating.
