In one week i bought three different baby cameras and this was the winner! 1080p, great quality picture, rotates, and has a handheld with the option of an app. The handheld quality is to be expected but the app photo quality is great. I love momcozy items. They can be pricey but they also have sales! So wait for a sale if you need to and check out their website to see if they have a sale their if not from amazon!Also you can record and take photos!! 10/10

We have baby number 2 coming this May. We started with one monitor for our first who is now 4 years old, but the charging port quit working for the monitor... then I found a Leap Frog brand camera and monitor, which I thought was cool. I really did love it, but for it being a big name brand... there were just certain features that I wasn't super pleased with.. and on top of that, when night vision turned on and off, it scared the poo out of my son... to where he was terrified of the camera, and didn't even like it in the room with him.. so I'd try hiding it in different spots, but man, once he saw it, you could tell... cause he'd go stiff and slowly pull the covers up to his eyes until I came in the room.Ssoo now that we have another baby and need a baby monitor again... I decided to find a different one that won't scare my 4 year old or chance scaring the baby when he gets old enough... and that's how I came across this one.I thought it was cool that you can view from a phone or a monitor... I think that will help my 4 year old feel like he's "helping" and not be scared, cause he can view from the app or something.We are all verrryy veryy exceptionally surprised and beyond pleased with this camera and monitor!!!!!Like... for something I thought was just a cheap, no name camera to try... turned out to be the best one we've had so far!! (and apparently it is a fairly popular brand name haha).So first thing my son noticed is the the click when it changes between night vision and color is not loud or scary like the other brand, and that made him excited.I noticed that when I'm talking in the monitor mic, I can let go and immediately hear his responses!! I didn't even know that was possible haha. Our other two monitors had a 2-5 second delay after I'd let go of the mic button, before I could start hearing his voice and responses.... and if I didn't hold the mic down about 2 seconds after talking, then it wouldn't relay my whole sentence until I pushed the mic button again to let it finish...This one is just.... all immediate! THAT in itself is a game changer for us!!! As soon as you press the mic, he can hear all my words as I say them... no delay, and as soon as you let go, you can hear the responses from the other end.I also loved the quality of the video.. It's actually 1080P!! Everytime I searched for a monitor in the past, none of them would actually say 1080... they would just say "HD" which I found out is just 720...but this one actually says 1080P and the quality of video shows and proves that it is!I obviously haven't tried out the boundaries option yet, cause baby isn't here yet...I will say, I found the app, but I couldn't get it to find the monitor... I'm not sure if you can only pair the monitor OR app or if you can have both paired at the same time... but we'll get it figured out, I'm sure its operator error in some way.I feel like I could go on and on about this monitor and camera... but basically we are very very very pleased and excited for this one!

The MomCozy baby monitor arrived, and immediately made our existing monitor look like a relic. We’d been using the Infant Optics DXR-8 Pro, which is somehow *more* expensive, yet feels like a tin cup and string by comparison. The MomCozy unit simply blows it out of the water.USB-C charging is the best. The battery actually lasts all day, too. The adjustable audio alarm is ingenious. Now, instead of being bombarded by every little rustle, I can set it to only alert me when, say, a full-blown meltdown is in progress.Now, about the Wi-Fi. It's advertised, but its purpose and setup remain a mystery. The monitor connects directly to the receiver, rather than streaming over WiFi, so I don't really know what the WiFi is even for. The instructions offer no help. This became a recurring theme: features dangled like shiny objects, with no map to guide you.The SD card recording, for instance. It took me a good while to figure out where to put an SD card. The instructions were useless; even the device diagram doesn't mention the SD card slot. Eventually, I unearthed a marketing image that revealed the slot hidden on the camera itself, requiring you to tilt it skyward to insert a micro SD card. I bought a 256 GB card for $20, enough for a modest film archive of baby shenanigans.Once installed, the playback is straightforward. The camera can play white noise and lullabies, all controllable from the receiver. The device has a Vox Mode, and the instructions are vague. It should only activate the screen and sound when noise exceeds a certain level, but I can't tell what it does when that setting is turned off, and I don't want to miss important noises.The night vision is decent, if a bit on the grayish side, and the receiver has a handy kickstand. The button layout could be more intuitive. The "home" button, for instance, is how you get to the settings. The camera direction is controllable remotely, and it offers 2x and 4x digital zoom. All in all, it's superior to our old monitor, but it’s as though the designers spent all their time on hardware and forgot to write clear instructions on the software.This is all fixable fairly easily - they just need a better manual. Even so, I'm giving it 5 stars because, for the price, it's MILES better than the alternatives.

This monitor lets me view my little one whether I'm home or in the next room. The view quality is pretty good with 1080P resolution and provides awesome night vision. While the image is not camera-like quality, it is honestly all you need for a baby camera.The battery life is decent and you can run the camera completely offline which is what I do. YOu can view the camera through the app or the monitor which you can put next to your bed. So far, has been reliable with no drops in connection.

This is one of the best cameras on the market. I am so glad I got to set this up. It is very easy to set up and get running. I love the camera resolution and that you can use the base or decide not to.

Got this for times when I'm outside running errands and want to make sure the dogs are safe. Easy to set up and connect. I set mine on the edge of the bookshelf to capture the full front room. Comes with its own handheld monitor and also can be linked to your phone. Both work great and the picture quality is amazing.
