For my tablet, the shade is a little big top to bottom, but I don't see this as a bad thing. Side to side, it fits great, and in windy conditions (which I rarely in anyways) you can pinch inward the bottoms of the shade closer to the middle so it hugs the tablet (this doesn't prevent seeing the screen). My tablet is rated for 400 nits of brightness, which is "a lot" for a screen that isn't primarily designed to be a drone screen. This shade absolutely hides the ambient light and makes it easier to see, even in the bright conditions I had earlier today. If you're on the fence, you won't be disappointed.Update: I traded in the L200 for the L168. Way better fit for my application. I'm still very pleased with how sturdy it is.

Good value for the money. The hood was a little wide for my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 so the elastic was too loose around the tablet. So I cut a slot near the end of each side, and inserted a small velcro strap in the slot and wrapped it around the elastic band. (See photo) Works great now!

The dimensions listed were mostly a distraction so I figured it out myself. Another review mentioned a 10.5 inch I pad pro.. There is no 10.5 inch pro only 11 or 13 inch. Anyway,, after “decoding†the dimensions I found it should (and did) fit basically. It could be a bit better (11 inch pad ) if the shorter 6.69 side was more like 7.25 or so, a bit too snug but workable.. No complaints, just suggestions to make a better fit in the future. This is for the L220 model/version..

The product I received is larger than the stated size and phone compatibility. It honestly looks like they knew this during manufacturing and packaging because it arrived in it's packaging and the product was literally hanging out of the packaging. This is not to be confused with shipping packaging. I am referring to the product packaging, which is a thin white box. The product itself was bent and damaged. It does not fit the phone at all. In fact the phone sits completely inside it and does not even touch the panels of this sun shade. You can probably fabricate your own from more durable material with a short trip to a hobby and craft store. My recommendation is to not base your sizing measurement on the physical size of your mobile device but rather the length of the screen only. As for this piece of crap that arrived, I may just cut it down it's center, where it is bent, and then use gaffers tape to reassemble it to the proper size.

This sunshade is well made. However, I am returning it because it does not fit. They warn you to take care in measuring for the correct size. As a cabinet maker I appreciate that. “Measure twice, cut once.†I checked the size 3 different times and compared that with the info on the screen. It was to fit an iPad 10. It was too small for the iPhone! Good product, poor communication.

I'm using a gen 3 mini ipad. I've tried a few of these and this is the best so far. Honestly can't imagine how it could be improved upon. One guy said he felt that the bands that go around the ipad could break. I don't get that feeling at all. I like that I can still touch the ipad easily unlike the last one I had. I like that this shield folds flat and fits in my drone case unlike the last one I had. I like that its easily installed and removed w/o fussing around. I like the material it's made of; kind of a cross between card board and rubber. Keep in mind that none of these shields provide an indoor experience with the ipad but it is good enough to fly safely. I won't fly without it.

This sun shade certainly helps me take better video of my son's lacrosse games. The only struggle I have is that the shade attaches over the screen exactly where the video controls are. I use my Samsung pen instead of my fat fingers and that works ok. If you're using the shade for taking video rather than watching it in sunlight, maybe open your camera app and see where the controls sit and if they're moveable (mine aren't). You might consider ordering a shorter shade to leave the controls more accessible. Now, if Amazon would sell a product that makes me pay attention to the screen instead of getting distracted by the action... =)Two additional tips based on amateur experience:1. If it's super hot outside and your phone keeps shutting off, cover the whole setup with a white cloth.2. But don't wear a white shirt or you will reflect all the sunlight you're trying to block.
