i ordered this set because i had some concrete to chip. i didn't want to invest a lot of money for one job since normally i use my sds max drill for drilling only. these bits worked wonderfully. i used the pointed and the chisel. both bits only showed a very small amount of wear after use. i think for the price these tools are definitely worth it.

These looked to be decent bits. When I received them, they were substantial and seemed good. I used them for just about 2 full days and I noticed they were chipping. Now let's be clear, it may not be the tools fault. I was working on some pretty tough concrete and brick. I was hoping for some stronger bits to stand up to some abuse. While these worked, I was expecting something more.

I was concerned about this set so much so that I also purchased the Bosch SDS bits individually in case this set did not work out and to compare the Monkey King vs Bosch. Well, there are physical differences between the two brands but tyhey are either superficial or in the description of the product.I utilizes the chisel and bull point bits to demolish a 72"x36"x6" reinforced concrete pad and a 36"x8"x8" step. The bull point was used to control the rough shape of the portion of the pad to be demolish and create chunks large enough to add to my seawall yet not so large that I could not carry it. The chisel was used the free the bull point when it got stuck and also to fracture the concrete between the holes created by the bull point. The scaling chisel was used to break up the clay soil under the pad to ease shoveling.The tools worked admirably, only getting stuck a handful of times. I may have been able to do the job faster with a sledge hammer but I would have given up some control and could have inadvertently damaged the retraining wall or building. At the end of the job, the chisel and bull point showed minimal wear. The only things I would change in this set is maybe to include some sort of case/pouch to store the bits and to lengthen the bits to 18".

I used these bits with my SDS max hammer drill til basically jackhammer a bunch of concrete in my back yard, and it worked absolutely flawlessly. I still haven't broken them, they're still working fine, and at this point based on what I'd have paid for a rental or for a house name brand, they already owe me nothing.
