The first couple times that I ordered this product, it was super saturated and was clear on the paper (which is also Monroe). I was thrilled that I found something that I could see. Unfortunately, the last two times I ordered the ribbon cartridge (using the same Monroe paper rolls), it was if I hadn't even changed the ribbon. The printing is very, very faint. I'm also changing the ribbon cartridge as soon as it's delivered so it's not sitting in a cabinet somewhere for months possibly drying up. Why mess with something that actually worked?

Perhaps these ribbons were old because I haven't experienced this before. The printing was not dark when new and it only lasted 3 weeks. I'll see how it works with the second ribbon.
